Julfikar started Barakit to give back to the community through tools that make everyday life a little easier. He wants useful software to be within reach of as many people as possible: straightforward to use, fairly priced, and built with care for the people who depend on it. That consumer-first approach shapes what Barakit builds and how it grows, with real needs and user feedback guiding the work.

With a computer science background from Hunter College and software engineering experience at Mastercard, Julfikar brings experience in backend systems, data, and automation to his work on consumer apps. At Barakit, he leads design and engineering across projects including Hifzit, Nofont, and HardPass, from the first idea through development and ongoing improvements. His role also covers product security: reviewing vulnerabilities, overseeing fixes, and protecting user data across Barakit’s apps, websites, and infrastructure.
